Cate Cody – Green Party, David Edgar – Christians Peoples Alliance, Laurence Robertson – Conservative, Cameron Thomas – Liberal Democrat
Excellent turnout for the hustings over the last couple of weeks. I attended the Friends of the Earth on Monday, the Abbey on Tuesday as well as Tewkesbury School on Thursday. An exceptional range of questions posed, with the candidates managing to answer most well, some a lot better than others.
Cate, Cameron and David attended all three attended events with Laurence showing for just one. Reform and the Labour failed to attend any.
Cate took part in all the public Hustings, there were held at:
Winchcombe
Tewkesbury Library
Tewkesbury Abbey
Tewkesbury Corn Exchange
Cleeve School
Additionally, there were these closed Hustings too:
Star College
All Saint’s Academy
Cate said, “I felt so proud to be representing the Green Party by taking part in all the Hustings. I am totally aligned and committed to our brilliant manifesto. We go so much further than any other party, with bold, fresh, workable solutions to tackle the climate crisis and improve inequalities. Thanks to everyone who came along to support your candidate.”
