Calls for public to have say on council shake-up as 1,600 oppose splitting Gloucestershire in two

More than 1,600 people have signed the petition set up by Tewkesbury Borough Council leader Richard Stanley which says splitting the county would “undermine our collective strength, identity, and future”.
